Our friend Mario Fraioli has a mini rant on “tiny town” and remote Eugene in
the morning shakeout. …On Sunday We biked over to look at the progress at Hayward Field. It’s gone Everything! All the structures leveled and gone. It was a shocking, kinda sad sight. So many good memories. But not to worry. The people and programs remain. That’s the diff. …BTW, while the complex is owned by the University of Oregon, there are many opportunities for the tiny town people to train and compete on the track.
